Universal Studios Hollywood put a date on Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift. September 16.
The park's YouTube posted it this morning, and the title and the description both say the high-speed coaster opens September 16, 2026. Their Discover Universal blog (updated August 12) still says they do not have an exact date, just summer 2026. So that is the date now.
It is Universal Hollywood's FIRST outdoor high-speed coaster. 4,100 feet of track over the Starway (that hill between the Upper Lot and the Lower Lot), up to 72 mph. The cars rotate 360 degrees so at points you are not facing forward. Pass members already got on it August 19, 20, 21, and 23.
September 16. If you were waiting on a calendar day, that is it.
